The mission of the Van Wert Area Economic Development Corporation is to promote and retain existing businesses and to design and implement solutions to drive investment and facilitate job creation throughout the county.
VWAEDC began operating in 2017 through a combined effort of city and county officials who believed in the strength of a central economic development agency. The result has been collaboration among community leadership groups, and a strong relationship with educators and businesses.
