VWAEDC Board Members
Stacey Baer
Stacey Baer, CPA is a native of Van Wert County. She is a partner with Shultz Huber & Associates, Inc where she began her career over 20 years ago. She was appointed as an at-large member. Her term expires in 2027.
Sue Gerker
Sue Gerker is appointed by the Van Wert County Commissioners and is an employee of the commissioners’ office. Her term expires in 2027.
Bill Marshall
Bill Marshall is appointed by the City of Van Wert. He is a former council member. He is also a Veteran and is active in the Van Wert American Legion Post 178. His term expires in 2027.
Thad Lichtensteiger
Thad Lichtensteiger is a perpetual member of the VWAEDC board as an elected county commissioner. He is in his fourth term as a Van Wert County Commissioner. Thad helps in operating the family farm.
Ken Markward
Ken Markward, as the elected mayor of the City of Van Wert is a perpetual member of the VWAEDC board. His term as Mayor of Van Wert began in January 2020.
Randy Agler
Randy Agler is a Van Wert native and retired from Eaton Corporation. He was appointed by the City of Van Wert; his term expires in 2028.
Anthony Adams
Anthony Adams is a Vice President and Commercial Underwriter at First Financial Bank. He serves as an at-large member with a term expiring 2029.
George Scott
George Scott is a financial advisor at Edward Jones. He was voted as the At Large board position, term ending in 2028.
Bill Evans
Bill Evans is the location lead at Truland Equipment, a local farmer and has been a Trustee for Ridge Township for 13 years. He was appointed by the Van Wert County Commissioners. His term ends in 2028.
